Official summaries of Board of Education proceedings and district announcements. The Board of Education meets on the second Monday of each month at 7:00 PM in the District Office, Glasco. Agendas are posted no less than 48 hours prior to each meeting.

October 12, 2026 — Regular Board Meeting

The Board of Education met in regular session at 7:00 PM in the District Office. All members were present.
Superintendent Pearson presented the official 2026-2027 enrollment count: 58 students district-wide (Glasco Attendance Center 24, Miltonvale Attendance Center 34), a figure consistent with budget projections.
The Board approved a maintenance contract for boiler inspection and servicing at the Glasco Attendance Center prior to the heating season.
First-quarter budget revisions were reviewed and approved as presented by the clerk of the board.
September 14, 2026 — Regular Board Meeting

September enrollment headcount was certified and forwarded to the Kansas State Department of Education.
The Board reviewed fall activities schedules for both attendance centers and approved out-of-district travel for volleyball and football transportation.
Building maintenance reports were accepted: gutter repair at Miltonvale is scheduled for October.

The Board approved the final 2026-2027 staffing plan and accepted resignations as presented.
Staff orientation for the new school year was held August 12-13. Classes began August 14 with a half day.
Bus routes for the 2026-2027 school year were approved as presented by the transportation supervisor.
